I’m part of the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition, an organization offering classes to teach members of the community how to safely trap and transport feral and stray cats to take them to be spayed/neutered (and get a rabies vaccine). After the surgery, you bring them back to where they live (and keep feeding them!). The result is happier, healthier cats who are not breeding, and a cleaner and safer community for everyone. The SAFCC also offers no-cost trap rentals, as well as information about subsidies so you can get these kitties their surgeries at little to no cost. If you have stray/feral cats living around your home and want to help them, find similar organizations in your area by clicking here.
